may 19 event...
On my whole 2-month vacation, i never went out for summer leisure... no swimming, no parties, nada...i just went out a few times to accompany my mom do some shoppings/groceries and other errand stuffs...there was also a time when i accompanied my dog Blackie in our community free anti-rabies vaccination...it only took less than a minute...if you could count that! a few times i go to the bookstore and spend almost 30 to 45 minutes drooling over books before i could finally settle in buying one... before, i was planning to take an ojt this summer but my laziness got ahead of me so here i am at home doin nothing but watch tv, surf the net, eat and sleep....u see, im not really lazy but summer is the best opportunity for me to gain some pounds...i dont like to move too much because i feel like my remaining few fats are burning.
im skinny so i really have to gain weight before school starts. Weight is my biggest and all-time dilemma in my 20 years of existence! But i think im havin my luck now because of this chinese drug im taking....ok wait, we'll get there....thats a part of my may 19 event im goin 2share with you since it's d only day in my entire vacation that i went out with my friends.
MORNING 10 AM - i arrived in school to enroll and at the same time meet my two other pals. We decided to watch STAR WARS: the revenge of Sith after im done with my papers. We were supposed to watch in G4 but i asked them if we could just watch it in SM Manila because i have to meet this guy whom ive ordered korean & jap vcds...that was our 2nd transaction.
12 PM - Im done with my enrolment so we went straight to SM Manila...I was really anxious to get my vcds than the thought of watching star Wars...I dunno, but im not really into sci-fi flicks...I prefered watching amityville but this guy friend of mine kept on insisting to watch star wars...but i thought star wars was okay...it was like the most awaited movie of everyone so i was fine with it...
1 PM - we arrived earlier and luckily, the guy i was about to meet arrived for about 10 minutes later. I got my vcds, paid him, a little talk about the warranty and we strolled off...The three of us decided to eat in Tokyo Tokyo...when we had enough, we went right away to the movie theater...
2PM - We were supposed to start the movie in time but me and elen took a long time in the CR just fixing ourselves...it wasnt really a necessay thing to do but we're used to spending a lot of time in front of the mirror...cant help it, im kinda vain....*sigh* We found our guy friend outside acting like he's about to doze off waiting for us...Okay, so we found our seats and started watching. Through the entire film, i really didnt understand what happened...its because i was napping on and off! i was really damn sleepy! guess due to the fact that i was up until 2 in the morning and i woke up at around 8am...i could already see the screen swimming in front of me...still, i tried my best to keep my eyes open...besides, this is the only movie ive seen in the big screen since laws of attractions! that was such a long time! hahaha....my guy friend kept (like a dozen times!) checking on me if im already in dreamland...though he was kinda apologetic about insisting on it, i was kinda annoyed! i was like, im sleepy but im trying not to, do you mind? so just keep watching ok? if you're reading this, fish po tau...hehehe....Later on, i asked him if he watched all star wars episodes...and he was like, yeah...i told him when i was in grade school, my dad brought this vhs tape of star wars and it was like my favourite during that time! me and my brother loved watching it though we cant understand Japanese...i remmber Harrison Ford was younger then and i described some scenes there...well, he recognized it and said it was episode IV, shot in 1970s or 1980s i think...That's the only star wars movie i was able to appreciate... oh i forgot, when we had just started the movie, elen said something hilarious that i cant stop laughing! According to her, she watched wazzup2 (channel 23) a few days ago and it has been said there that Luke Mejares is in Star Wars! Later on, Samuel jackson appeared on the screen and she was laughing...it was so funny i kept on laughing too, it figured....i dunno, but the idea of luke mejares being in a George lucas film is just.... funny! he doesnt really look like him but samuel jackson is the closest he could be...i mean, he couldnt be yoda right? that gremlin looking creature is soo cute too...he's the only character i loved there... =)

CHERRY BLOSSOMS....
 
The cherry blossom (sakura) is Japan's unofficial national flower. It has been celebrated for many centuries and takes a very prominent position in Japanese culture. There are many dozens of different cherry tree varieties in Japan, most of which bloom for just a couple of days in spring. The Japanese celebrate that time of the year with hanami (cherry blossom viewing) parties under the blooming trees.
When i think of Japan, the 2nd thing that comes to my mind (my dad's the first of course heheh) is the cherry blossoms... everytime my dad comes home from his sea voyage, he would always bring these pretty calendars that has pictures of cherry blossoms, maples (the one in my header) and others...i love looking at it cuz its soo beautiful..i kept wishing that someday i may be able to see one. I also recall when i was younger, my dad would always bring home these flower and tomato seeds...we will plant it in the backyard and i was so excited to see them grow.. the seed packets have pictures and the flowers have nice pink and red colors and the tomate looked big and very red, not the usual tomato i can see in the fridge...i never saw those kinds here in the phils...the tomato started growing and every morning, the first thing i would do is see them..it became a routine until...it stopped growing...my dad just shrugged.. said it's probably because of the humid climate. The flowers didnt grow at all...When i got older, i realized my dad knew all along that its impossible to grow them..maybe he just wanted to see me happy or he wanted something both of us could do... planting...it makes me smile just thinking of that....
